The Door Hinge for Demelza Quiz nights will resume on Wednesday 2nd September at 7:30pm (Table Round handed out) with the main quiz starting at 7:45pm and usually lasts around 90 minutes.
It’s £2 entry with a maximum of 4 paricipants per team. All proceeds go to Demelza Children’s Hospice.
Come along as a team or come along and join a short handed team, everyone is welcome. The quiz consists of a Table round and 5 random rounds of 10 questions.. The winning team gets a free drink. It’s for the brain not for the gain.

Last night was the last Door Hinge for Demelza Quiz of the year.
Congratulations to Steve, Bob and Nigel winners of the quiz. Runners up were Dave, Dave, Rosemary and Marilyn who also won the table round. Geoff, Griff, Paul and Colin were third and Bonnie and Mick 4th.
Sally, Amy and Charlie were 5th.
A massive thank you to Dave, Dave, Rosemary and Marilyn for the Thank You card and bottle of Talisker malt wh**ky.
The Quiz Night will return in the New Year with the first Quiz on Wednesday 7th of January and after many years of being just £1pp entry it’ll increase to £2pp with all proceeds going to Demelza Children’s Hospice.
Thanks to all for your continued support and for raising money for Demelza.

Tomorrow night (Wednesday 4th) is Quiz Night in the Door Hinge, Quiz start 7:30pm and lasts approximately 90 minutes with a break after round 3. It’s still only £1 pp to enter and a maximum of 4 participants in each team,
Winners receive a free drink and all the proceeds go to Demelza Children’s Hospice.
Come along and join a fun night of quizzing. I guarantee you will go home with more knowledge than you arrived with.
Come along as a team or come along and join a team that’s short of the maximum of 4.

The quiz takes place fortnightly so get the next date in your diary Wednesday 18th June.

Wednesday night sees the first Quiz Night of 2024 in The Door Hinge.
£1pp entry and teams of no more than 4 participants.
We will also have the the Roulette Wheel out again, £1 per token per person with approximately 75% of the nights takings adds to the rollover from the last quiz night. If no winner 50% goes to Demelza and the other 50% into the rollover pot.
