Tonight I was MC at the Prestigious Venues Awards held in the Georgian Room of Harrods. I had the pleasure of meeting champion ballroom dancers Nataliia Siianko and Nikos Pallikarou who performed a Viennese Waltz around the guest tables. Fabulous hospitality, wonderful hosts and guests. As always, a pleasure. My fourth event of the week and tomorrow there’s a wedding.

I’ve been announcing these for quite a few years and next year it will be held in Amsterdam. This event was the first of five for me this week. Love my job!

Attended a City luncheon today for the Billingsgate Ward Club held in the 1,000 year old crypt of Guildhall. The red-coated gentleman is a ‘Doggett’ (rower) from the Company of Watermen. Also featured in the shots are Sheriff Keith Bottomley and the royal crest (Dieu et mon droit) made of plaster in the 1600s. I absolutely love my job, as you all will know.
