We caught up with conductor Stephanie Childress following a rehearsal for The Mahler Experiment - a semi-staged performance of Mahler’s Symphony No.1 that places audiences inside the orchestra, free to move among the musicians as the music unfolds around them.

This concert is a collaboration between Tony Award-winning theatre and opera director Tom Morris OBE, conductor Stephanie Childress, and Sinfonia Smith Square.
