The workshop is suitable for conducting students of all levels as well as for musicians and conductors with conducting experience.
The number of active participants is limited to 8.
The main venue for the course is well known for its musical activities — St James Church, Sussex Gardens at Paddington, London. ( for more information about the church look for Community on our website).
There will be 6 conducting sessions over 3 days.
Total podium time: 105 minutes with the orchestra (preceded by 30 minutes with the piano).
Each participant will gain the advantage of meeting the orchestra twice a day, before and after lunch – a rare opportunity — to build familiarity and confidence.
Our tutors will work on all critical aspects of conducting : from score analysing and musical interpretation to technical challenges – all focused individually for each participant.
All participants will conduct during a final lunch time concert at St James Church, Sussex Gardens.
Concert will be recorded by Wright Music Media.
