The 2015 ‘Post-2015 Development Challenges in Conflict Zones’ Conference is a joint initiative of postgraduate students from the Conflict, Security and Development (CSD) programme, the War Studies Department and the International Development Institute at King’s College London (KCL). The two-day conference will focus on challeng

es to the post-2015 development agenda as related to conflict and security issues. The programme will address four key areas of development. The conference objective is to address gaps in policy and scholarship, and to encourage research into this subject of growing relevance. The event will provide an opportunity for students to engage with leading policymakers, practitioners and academics in the field. It will also offer a networking opportunity for recruiters and students. By organising the second CSD Conference at King’s, we are continuing on a path of excellence begun by last year's conference.
