use inner tubes in for a few reasons 👀💨

Inner tubes are primarily used in Supercross for advantages in handling, weight, and feel.

While many riders use mousse inserts to prevent flats, inner tubes offer a ‘bouncier’, more responsive feel that is often preferred for technical, high-rhythm tracks.

Inner tubes are also lighter than foam mousse inserts, reducing unsprung weight and improving the bike’s acceleration and suspension performance.

Tubes allow riders to fine-tune tire pressure to match specific, quickly changing track conditions.

They offer a consistent, predictable feel, whereas foams can feel different as they start to heat up over the race.
