Our annual Summer Festival is back, spilling joyfully into the park near the Plum Lane entrance on Sunday 14 June, 12pm–5pm!

Bring your family, your neighbours, and your favourite picnic blanket for a fantastic community day out. Here is a taste of what’s on:

Live Music & Entertainment: Ronnie Ripple and the Ripchords, the Toby Snowden Jazz Trio, a traditional Pearly Kings & Queens singalong, and a classic Punch & Judy show.

Food & Drink: The Green Goddess pop-up pub, sizzling jerk grills, artisanal sausage rolls, homemade cakes, and ice cream.

Activities & Stalls: Craft and plant stalls, solar viewing telescopes, kids’ activities, community & nature projects and maybe even a real fire engine!

Getting There & Parking:
Bus: Take the 244 from Woolwich or the 89 from Lewisham (stops near Plum Lane). Alternatively, the 291 will take you to the Garland Road entrance.
Parking: Free street parking is available around the area.
Some disabled parking spaces are available. Please email [email protected] to book.

20TH JULY PICNIC-IN-THE-PARK IS GO, BUT SADLY DOG SHOW IS CANCELLED

Due to the ongoing hot weather and in the interest of everyone’s safety and well-being, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the dog show scheduled for Sunday, July 20th, 2025 in Shrewsbury Park.

We’re truly grateful for your understanding and continued support. Thank you for being part of our community.

We had an absolute blast today - thanks to everyone who turned out. We appreciate your support - to the traders and entertainers, thank you too.

For the volunteers, friends, organisers, and Learn Doglish - all shattered, but happy - thank you soooooo much! You know who you are!
