Another huge shoutout to our Junior Sponsors Tutor Doctor

Their support has been amazing this season and we can’t wait to continue working with them.

Unfortunately, their team lost the Plate Final however they played some good cricket throughout the tournament.

Their stall was full of goodies and a wheel that and had a lot of fun using😂

Devesh Kerai and Prithvi Nakrani have been gearing up for Curry-Oke night for the last 2 months, practicing Ed Sheeran’s Castle on the hill together everywhere they go. Our members (apart from maybe Giff) were really excited to hear their rendition😂

Congratulations to 18 year old Devm Parekh on making his 1st XI debut on Saturday. He was presented his cap by 👏🏽

devam joined us midway through the season from India and has been a pleasure to have in and around the club and we hope he enjoyed his time here as much as we enjoyed him being here🙌🏽

Across the XI’s, Devm took 30 wickets in just 14 games at an average of just 18.60. He also took 2 5 wicket hauls, returning best figures of 6-55💪🏽

Devm also hit 2 half-centuries for the CV XI, with a high score of 68👊🏽

WEEKEND RESULTS‼️

Our 1s took on div 2 champions Bessborough Cricket Club and were bowling first. Prits was on fire with the new ball as he took his first 1st XI 5-fer. Devm with an economical 2-fer and Kalps also with 2. 137 with the target and runs only came from social media famous Saj as he hit 55 but we were bowled out for 118. Loss by 19 runs.

The 2s took on promoted Harrow Cricket Club and were bowling first. Thanks to Kaushlendra’s 5-fer and Neel’s 3-fer, they bowled Harrow out for 207. Apart from Cedric’s 34, the chase never got going however fireworks from Abhishek at number 10 meant he brought up 50. 132ao. Loss by 75 runs.

The 3s took on promoted Brentham CC 🏏 and were bowling first. Skipper Pranav led the charge as he took 5 and he was backed by Jaisal’s 2-fer on 3s debut. Zaki and Rosh Madhaparia also took 1 each. 163 was the target and the boys made lightwork of it. 40 from Devesh, 39 from bday boy Karshy and then 31* from Vraj and 24* off just 10 balls from Jameel sealed the deal. Win by 7 wickets.

The 4s were away to NLCC and against a strong batting lineup with small boundaries conceded 340 despite 2 from Vijay and Dhiresh. The boys never backed down from the chase and it looked like at many points in the game we were gonna chase it. Half-centuries from Vinay (66), Roshan Desai (58) and Soham (57) as well as a quick-fire 34 from Sahil Goswami brought us close but unfortunately too many wickets fell in the last few overs and we were all out for 310, a mighty effort nonetheless. Loss by 31 runs.

Not the best way to end the season as only the 3s won however the vibe at the club was still high thanks to Henna, Roshan Patel, Viraj, Devesh and Rishi who ensured Curry-Oke ran as smoothly as possible and everyone had a great laugh!

Gameweek 18 is upon us…

The final Gameweek of the season, admin will miss it 🥲

The 1s travel to league champions Bessborough Cricket Club looking to end the season on a high. Viraj skippers the side whilst Nihal, Panzo and Rosh make their way back in. 18 year old Devm Parekh also makes his 1st XI debut👏🏽

The 2s host Harrow Cricket Club also looking to end their season on a high. Chich takes the armband whilst Yug and Neel return. Raj Parmar makes his 2nd XI debut👊🏽

The 3s host promoted Brentham CC 🏏 looking to ruin any chances of them winning the title. Pranav slippers the side whilst Roshan Madhaparia returns alongside Vraj💪🏽

The 4s head to promoted NLCC as they also look to end a decent season on a high. Samit returns with the gloves alongside Soham, Dhiresh and Vinay🙌🏽

Let’s end the season with 40 points! Get yourself down to the ground, bar open as always!🍻

We have our Curry-Oke in the evening as well so make sure those singing voices are ready!🎶
