• ABOUT QUORUM
QUORUM is a series of theatre and performance research seminars hosted by the Department of Drama, Queen Mary, University of London. Academics, artists, professionals and practitioners working in performance and related fields are invited to share and discuss their research. Recent papers have demonstrated wide-ranging and interdisciplinary concerns which present and provoke pressi
ng questions at the forefront of performance and related studies. QUORUM heartily encourages any interested persons to attend, including members of the public, undergraduates, postgraduates, artists and professionals. No booking is required.
• WHEN AND WHERE
QUORUM events are generally on Wednesday evenings every other week. Speakers present for 45 minutes, before a short break for wine and refreshments, and the seminar concludes with questions from the public. QUORUM takes place in Rehearsal Room Two of the Arts One Building at the Queen Mary, University of London Mile End campus, except in some specific cases (which will be advertised at the time). RR2 is fully wheelchair accessible and is near the entrance from Mile End Road. The Arts One building is easily accessible within five minutes walk from Mile End station or a ten-minute walk from Stepney Green station. Please see details below:

• QUORUM COMMITTEE
The QUORUM committee comprises of current PhD students at the Department of Drama, Queen Mary, University of London. For 2021-2022, the members of the committee are Hanife Schulte, Carolyn Naish, Gill Lamden, Tobi Poster-Su, Souradeep Roy, and Sam Čermák.
