Not all waste belongs in the bin ♻️
Recycle Week is here, and this year's theme, Rescue Me, shines a spotlight on the recyclable items that are often overlooked or mistakenly thrown away. It's a reminder that by making the right choices, we can give valuable materials a second life and help reduce waste.
As a venue welcoming hundreds of events and thousands of visitors each year, the Business Design Centre is committed to reducing waste and improving recycling.
In 2025, our recycling rate increased to 35.91%, reflecting the progress we're making in supporting and implementing more sustainable event practices.
This Recycle Week, we're encouraging our community to take a closer look at what they're throwing away. From event materials and packaging to everyday office waste, there are countless of opportunities to rescue valuable resourced through reuse and recycling.
Together, we can reduce waste, reduce our environmental impact and create a more sustainable events industry.
