London, 1929. Smoky, smoggy streets and uproarious public houses. Bob, Ella and Jenny seek connection in the sprawling metropolis as they wrestle with passions, unrequited love, and unfulfilled dreams in this gritty portrait of working-class life in Jazz Age London.
