YEAR OF THE HORSE is literally a few more days away and we will be celebrating with a CNY inspired menu for the weekend of 20/21/22. We’ll be changing up the menu and MY PARENTS will be cooking some of the meats - corn fed soy sauce chicken & red braised pork belly.

We also have doing the desserts!!! Her famed pandan sando will be making an appearance and a pineapple tart with cold creme anglaise.

Honestly the photo alone makes us look like a family (lol) but this menu will be cooked with so much love and with such family spirit cos how else do you celebrate the New Year?

And finally we have our CNY tees aswell. Designed by OUR FAVE 🖤 He always always always get my need to goth up anything basically! These will be available to buy toooo 💥💥💥

Owww thought we wouldn’t be able to pull off a CNY celebration this year cos you guys have been keeping us SO busy but so happy we get to collaborate with our nearest & dearest. See you at x

What I’ve been eating to get through the first 5 weeks of Godet. WOW thank you so much to everyone’s who come to eat and drink with us. Apologies for the mental Fridays & the wait on food sometimes - we have the tiniest kitchen but we are working on it everyday to improve on it!! Last week we lost one of our fryers before service so that was fun. Cooking is just problem solving every day I tell you.

Some food I’ve eaten from Blankita’s beef soup and their hot sauce. Their hot sauce is the punch you need when you’re so tired and need collagen and spice owww. They’re taking over Tottenham and I 🩷 it.

I’ve been cooking so much more for myself so that means noodles soups all the time yay! Honestly don’t think anything else could heal me better & faster.

Now my bus to and from work takes me through green lanes means lentil soup all the time. I can not believe it’s taken me to this year today discover this soup!! Wow LOVE!

Managed to go see friends one Monday (very proud of my myself) got to eat beautiful cured tuna with green harissa. Everyone was talking whilst I was stealing a lot of bites. Got to eat grandma’s pho which was light and refreshing!! I need to play that game again!! I’ll bring food to the next one - I arrived empty handed and felt terrrriblle about it. Tiredness makes you forgot all etiquette damn.

Won’t describe the rest but every week we are getting more organised, running service more fluidly and have welcomed two more members to the team.

SAVE THE DATE 💚 Sunday 15th June we are holding a pre loved clothes sale at the pub and as it’s Father’s Day we’ll cook up a summer roast inspired menu for that too!

I have SO MANY clothes .. before cooking I was a shopaholic and loved loved loved clothes so much so I have bags & bags of barely worn clothes as I don’t have an opportunity to wear them all now. Come down for a little rummage and I’ll post some little teasers of the clothes once I’ve sorted through it all. Ps we got a fashion stylist selling clothes too omggggg x

WE HAVE A NEW HOME 🩷🩷🩷

We have been searching for a home in Tottenham for so long and finally we found one. We will be cooking from Wednesday 5th February.

We will be cooking the Ling Ling’s menu during the week and on Sunday 9th February we will be bringing back the ROAST. OWWW YOU HEARD IT RIGHT THE ROAST IS BACK. I’m back on potato duty x

We are starting 2025 with a bang 💥 We will be popping up .restaurant with a beautiful Lunar New Year menu Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th January 🏮🏮🏮

Super excited to kick off the year with a new year menu and also after dinner you can move down to the bar downstairs for Karaoke!! I’m totes gonna start practising my song now.. but I don’t think In the end - Linkin Park is a crowd pleaser init 😇

Ok sooo I saw do a very lovely round up of 2024 in dessert and thought I’ll do the same with .. well with chips. Yess I know hash browns aren’t technically a chips but it’s a pic from our last roast so allow it. There have been some marvellous chips from ones at the best which I put into a sandwich to the ones at .london OMG THESE WERE SO GREAT. If I wasn’t so full from all the other amazing dishes I would have eaten them all.

Fish and chips chips from the chippy on well st did save us a lot of time for a snack before service. Ow and the ones from were great too great seasoning! And I discovered a very lovely fizz from that dinner too.

And ending with plates and plates of chips eaten at home. I can’t believe I didn’t take more photos of my chips cos I remember there were more .. maybe I’m not such a chip weirdo as I first thought 😘

We all know 2024 was a bitch can’t wait to see the back of this year here’s hoping for a better year in 2025 🥳🥳🥳 SO MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL AND WE WILL BE BACK TOO ###

And we also have more pop up news 🌟 We will be popping up a couple of Tuesdays 19th & 27th at . YES THEY HAVE A NEW SITE IN KINGS CROSS. It’s such a beautiful site and we’ll taking over upstairs (which kinda looks like a Chinese restaurant already how fortuitous for us. Marble tables, ornate chandeliers you get the pictures!)

Come see you if you’re in king cross. It’s a very open plan kitchen so we can definitely have chats!! And there’s karaoke room????!!!! 😘

We have some pop up news! We have a few pop ups coming up this November 💙💙💙 kicking it off we will taking over the pans at on Sunday 10th and the following Sunday 17th. Blackstock road is such a great area!! Giacco’s has such a lovely feel to it it’s gonna be so lovely cooking there x

A little snapshot of snacks and people I’ve spent time with during my time off. Not easy being freelance when you’re a worry wart like me but Zahra had a word with me and I’m trying to be in the present more. Incredibly lucky I have a group of very fiery strong Asian ladies around me. Love you ALL. One last trip to Singburi eek thanks to Claire. I’ve eaten lots of caviar at industry events recently but obviously I’m still v e r y grounded lol. Definitely been chatting a lot 🩷🩷🩷

It’s finally happening!!! We are popping up on SATURDAY 28th OCTOBER at .plimsoll YAYYY!!!

We have wanted to cook with you guys for ages & has been occasionally working in the kitchen whilst I’ve been trying to find a new spot for us. He loves it there and everyone who works there. It’s gonna be a real family affair. SO EXCITED ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
