2014 was an epic race, with the fast flow and a quick NW wind helping the records to tumble. So many Olympians in crews; it was a delight to have the best of our country's female rowers doing the distance alongside the best of our club and student rowers. It was also the first time the Prize-giving was held on race day for over 30 years. It was a glitzy affair with a bar and coffee bar, lights and

music. A massive thank you goes to the coaches who had a tough job this year in preparing their crews for the race. Our thoughts are with the 50 or so crews that did not get to race this year due to the unprecedented flow conditions. Have a great summer and see you all next year for the 75th race!

Like what you see here? It takes a large number of people behind the scenes to get 2,880 competitors safety down the course on race day and we're always grateful when new people join the team!
