In some cases, nominations mysteriously disappear when people decide not to pay. The focus shifts from achievement to affordability.

Recognition should never feel conditional on your bank balance.

That is why due diligence matters.
Before celebrating a nomination, ask questions.
Who are the judges? What are the criteria?
Is the process transparent?
Is the award respected by your peers and industry?
If the answers are vague, proceed with caution.

Not every opportunity is an honour.
Not every trophy represents excellence.
Not every accolade deserves a place on your shelf.

Real recognition cannot be bought.
Genuine achievement speaks for itself."
