MCM EXPO MEET - SUNDAY - 11AM

25th April (a week on Saturday) some of the committee members are going to be going to Draughts - a board game cafe in Shoreditch from 11am onwards. The place doesn't take bookings on weekends and can get busy in the evening but if you would like to join us by all means do! This is our low-key meetup before our big meetup next month at MCM.

We'd like to gauge interest so we can inform the cafe - so like or comment if you'd like to come along! (They have kaiju board games).

London's first board game café and bar with over 500 board games to play and buy. Serving quality food, coffee, wine, beer & cider.

Hi everyone! Thank you for joining us for the first Shatterdome UK Digital Hangout. To say it went better then expected probably shows how low my expectations were - there were a few big pauses in the screening but you guys seemed to be having fun.

We will be organising future events along the same lines now that we can fix all the issues we had. You guys are hilarious and your comments were very entertaining.

+ANNOUNCEMENT TIME+

Hello! I hope you all survived the eclipse. We'd like to announce our plans for Shatterdome London this year but first, an introduction to the LOCCENT team running this place.

Morale Officer Jade Elizabeth Rose (they/them)
Treasury Officer Małgorzata Phil Mikulska (he/him)
Media Officer Hamish Ridley-Steele (he/him)

On a meet, these are the people who you should come to with questions, concerns, etc and we'll help anybody. At the next meet up, we'll hopefully have some identification.
This year we are planning to have some form of event, even digitally or physically, every month. Event pages for each of these will be created in good time.

+ Saturday 28th March - Our first digital hangout! A screening of Pacific Rim with IM chat. Details will follow soon on how to take part but atm, everyone is welcome!
+ Saturday 25th April - Low-key meet up in Draughts - London's first board game café! The place opens at 10am but you come whenever you want.
+ Saturday 23rd May - MCM London Comic Con Pacific Rim meet up - times and places will be finalised but it'll probably be a picnic on the grass outside.

We have plans beyond that including more digital meet ups, more cafes and pubs and K-Day celebrations and a Halloween party! We're always open for suggestions too so let us know.
