🌟 An Official Emma Appreciation Post! 🌟

We're sending a boatload of love and gratitude to our amazing lead skipper and boat operations manager, Emma, as she sets sail on a new adventure this autumn! ⛵

Emma's truly been an invaluable part of our team. She's positive, dependable, and always ready for a cuppa and a good chat with her colleagues.

Here are some fun facts about Emma:
✨She is originally from Sweden
✨She has a dog, Brynja and a cat, Barbara, who are the office favourites!
✨She loves making friends with all the beautiful birds on the canal.

When asked what her favourite part of the job has been, she told us:

"I love meeting all the different kids who come on board the boat, they make each one of the trips it's very own unique adventure!"

While we'll miss her onboard the barge, we’re so excited for all the amazing things she’s headed toward next. 💙

For this week's World Teacher's Day, we’re giving a shoutout to our brilliant Lead Teacher, Flora!

Flora is the creative force behind our educational sessions, planning and devising exciting new learning opportunities.

Every single trip on the Electric Barge directly funds educational sessions aboard our Floating Classroom, taught by brilliant teachers like Flora.

These sessions support children who might otherwise have limited access to nature or enriching extracurricular activities. 🌿
