Neocat Music Festival

Neocat Music Festival Please, please get in touch as we need performers!!! The Brazil WYD, 2013 was arguably a very important couple of weeks for most of us who went. Come and play!

We all owe something to someone because of the journey. Some owe their lives to God, some owe their lives o someone else, and maybe even some owe their gratitude and thanks for everything that had been done for them during the pilgrimage. In any situation, the WYD is something not to be underestimated in terms of life changing opportunities, with the power (given from God) to make you convert, mak

e you look inside yourself or even simply make you a sign for somebody else! SO, we have begun fund raising already, stacking up them Ps to save up for the 2016 WYD to Krakov, Poland: home of the original Polski Sklep that seems to be so famous in Ealing! Anybody who is willing to join the team organising it (by helping set up, lending equipment, serving/making food and drink, singing a full set - or all of the above) will have a full headstart to anybody who hasn't raised. And take into account that not only is it an opportunity where you can help yourself or donate to others, but it is also a great place where you can showcase your talents (if your a musician, a poet, a comic or a magician, it doesn't matter)!

Be sure to click on the 'About' Section for a map and why we are setting up open mic nights!

The first night will be to raise money for the Carol Choir run by Natallia Ushe who is helping me so much; without Natallia, Ruth and the choir, I wouldn't be running this page, so I really thank them all a lot. We need to raise money for the Choir's concert tour (coming to a church near you), so pay attention, because this is for you!

We are looking for volunteers to help myself and the Choir run the night, providing food and drink to sell for the audience (naturally performers get a free drink), helping provide mics, mic stands, amps, instruments, setting up and packing things away, and with any other means that people can offer to achieve the end that is a completely awesome open mic. We also need (and this is probably the most appealing part)... TALENT!

If you are a singer, poet, or someone that people in the audience will pay attention to because whatever you are doing is fandidly-astic, please, come along - it's a great opportunity to perform in front of a great crowd who are willing to listen, and not simply a packed sweaty old pub with bad acoustics where nobody gives a damn! I don't care if you think you suck, think you are the next Justin Beiber, or the next Ben Johnson come along! You'll be completely welcomed!

The venue will be at 377 Mile End Rd, London E3 4QS, at 5:00 on Friady the 24th Oct. You will be ushered in by incredible Michal Paszkiewicz on guitar, and when the first few performers are here, we'll get this MoFkin show started!!
