🎞️🌸 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Umrao Jaan last weekend!

It was lovely to see so many people coming along to experience this beautifully restored Bollywood classic on the big screen and share in its timeless story of resilience. Many embraced the occasion in South Asian and Lucknowi-inspired outfits 🪷

Thank you to Alina Mirza, who introduced the film on behalf of Tongues on Fire and the UK Asian Film Festival, and to everyone who helped bring the screening to Lanternhouse Cinema.

This event was part of our Community Gathering, a celebration of global cultures through workshops, live music, food and film. See more here: lanternhousearts.org/celebrating-global-cultures
