Clapham Ceilidh

Clapham Ceilidh 100% profits to charity - In aid of Trinity Hospice
A ceilidh to dance your socks off! Friday 2nd Se Now I am divorced and I found it very difficult.

Divorce Ceilidh is a ceilidh like any other….but one with the theme of divorce, explored through a musical odyssey. It felt important for me to do something positive after a lot of negativity. 100% of the proceeds from this ceilidh go to charity (Battersea Arts Centre or Royal Trinity Hospice)

What could be more positive than dancing with a large group of people to Scottish music? It’s community that gets you through divorce, and community that gets you through a ceilidh.

There was a man in a tiny kilt, a hen party, some heavy contact dancing (my legs definitely whacked some unidentifiable people as I was being swung round.) Thanks so much to all who came on Friday....and to those of you who didn't - there's always next year. Enormous love and thanks from Trinity Hospice for raising 600 GBP - please send in any photos or videos to [email protected] - I had such a good time I literally took 3 photos and 1 short video....contributions will be received in exchange for eternal gratitude and love xx

Almost 100% of Brixton and Clapham residents have not been in Brixton Assembly Hall - this is a travesty of justice and I speak now of the need to change this.
