✨LONDON INTERNATIONAL SHOWING SERIES - QUALIFIER SPOTLIGHT✨
Congratulations to Philippa Hyne & King Of The Woods - known as Swifty and his rider on qualifying for the Racehorse to Show Horse class at London International Horse Show!
Swifty has been part of the team at Jimmy Frost’s yard since he was a yearling, arriving as something of an ugly duckling. After being broken in, educated, and even taken to the races, it became clear that racing wasn’t for him. With his super movement and conformation, they tried showing but found little interest at first.
Thankfully, Swifty stayed and has since transformed into a beautiful swan. Now a consistent winner in RoR classes, he’s qualified for Hickstead, Aintree, and now London International, remarkably securing his ticket on the first attempt.
After nearly 13 years working in racing, this moment is extra special and we think it’s safe to say you really do have a pretty good horse!

Part two of meeting the horse and rider combinations for Services Jumping Championship 2025! ⭐
🎖️AS1 Sophie Richards: Aircraft engineer specializing in armament systems on typhoon aircraft. I joined the RAF Equitation 2.5 years ago having competed up to BE intermediate and at the u18 national champs. Brownie came to us 14 months ago, he was struggling to stay sound and if we couldn't help him he would have been put down, thankfully with use of the water treadmill and feed and supplements we have managed to rehab him to the great condition he is in today. We got brownie as a hunter until we discovered his love for show jumping and he now competes at newcomers and foxhunters.
🎖️Lieutenant Katie McManus: Warfare Officer specialised in Hydrography & Meteorology, providing environmental support to 47 Commando (Royal Marines). Arthur (owned by Molly Gillard) and I have been competing together in Military events over the last year and are supported by Jabeena Maslin Equestrian. Upon joining the RN 6 years ago, I then started riding Jabeena's horses and have loved every minute! This will be the first time at LIHS for myself and Arthur and we are really looking forward to it!
🎖️LBdr Charlotte Pudge: Reservist Gunner in the Royal Artillery involves supporting regular forces by locating and striking the enemy, providing force protection for airfields, or operating weapon systems. I had Dreamer when he was 4 years old, but he didn’t start jumping until he was 8 because of his unpredictable temperament. We’ve now had nearly a 12-year partnership together. It took a while for him to trust and behave over the years, but now he’s truly a dream - hence the name, Dreamer!
🎖️Police Constable Megan Jeffery: Police Constable on Response Team E at Bromley so I am out there answering 999 calls. Spring was originally bought by a previous employer for me to bring on to sell, but as soon as I sat on her I knew she was special and couldn’t part with her. Winning the 1m and 110cm Finals at the Forces Equine Games 2025 and of course qualifying for the LIHS in our first attempt and first year in the Police.
🏅Wg Cdr Sarah Boon: My role in the RAF is a Medical Officer (GP) currently working a Staff Role in Force Health Protection looking at the Health and Wellbeing of the RAF. Started jumping in my 30’s and now totally gotten the bug! I have had Tango for 4 years and he adores jumping and being dared into a fence. To me, he is an overgrown pony and loves a jump off!

Grane Valley Mr Newark and Madison Slattery stole the show in the Under 25’s!
Madison has been competing since she was a little girl, and at just 15, she’s already moving up the levels. With her own horse sadly out for the season due to injury, Samantha kindly offered her the ride on Yogi and in their first time competing together, they qualified!
We can’t wait to see this exciting new partnership at London!
