Only 3 weeks to go — have you got your ticket? 🎟️⏳

🌳🍺 Mighty Oak Brewery are back at Wanstead Beer Festival!

And they're bringing some cracking beers with them, including Captain Bob 🏴‍☠️, Old Man and the Sea 🌊 and Oscar Wild 🐺.

Maldon-based Mighty Oak have been brewing award-winning ales since 1996 🏆, so they certainly know their way around a good pint. We're very pleased to have them joining us again this year!

We’re delighted to announce the return of the much loved Wanstead Beer Festival — and plans are already underway to make 2026 our biggest and best event yet! 🎉

Last year’s best seller is back!🍻

Pretty Decent Beer Co.’s brilliantly named ‘I Could Get Better at Tesco for a Quid’ was the beer you couldn’t get enough of at last year’s Wanstead Beer Festival, so of course we had to invite them back!

A 4.5% Session IPA, a memorable name and officially a Wanstead favourite.

But the big question is… What will take the top spot this year?

Last year’s Wanstead Beer Festival was packed with great beer, great company and a brilliant atmosphere, and we’re getting ready to do it all over again!

This year, we're proud to support Wanstead Parish - St Mary with Christ Church War Memorial as one of the three local charitable causes to benefit from the funds raised at Wanstead Beer Festival 2026.

The war memorial has been restored in the past, but now it is in need of significant works. The bronze angel sculpture that sits atop of the memorial has been poorly maintained and this has affected the colouring of the Portland stone of the memorial itself, whilst the names of the fallen – recut on granite, probably in the 1960s – have now become worn in places.

The London Borough of Redbridge owns the memorial, but they have granted the Parish of Wanstead a licence to carry out works required.

Wanstead Parish - St Mary with Christ Church hope to raise sufficient funds for the memorial to be professionally cleaned and for the names cut in the memorial to be professionally repainted by an expert in war memorial restoration.
