Introducing our second production partner for Waterworks Extended: Lillian Rose.

Celestial Artillery is a motion designer and VJ specialising in generative 2D graphics, audio-timed visuals and bespoke show design.

Her practice combines radiant colour, hypnotic movement, reworked imagery and cybernetic aesthetics to build visual worlds made specifically for the dancefloor. Each show unfolds in conversation with the music, with imagery shaped and manipulated live in response to the DJ, the space and the energy of the crowd.

For Celestial Artillery, dancefloor visuals are an artisanal craft: a live exchange built on instinct and telepathic link. AI visuals are not part of the equation.

Waterworks prides itself on delivering a unique audio-visual experience to all in attendance. 2026 will be no different.   Introducing: Contact Field - the first of many installations we will host at The Cause this September.  You may recognise this kinetic installation from the forests of Houghton. Nicole Gordan and Ke Peng will be showcasing a newly adapted formation exclusively for us.

Reflective by day, folding the surrounding trees and sky back into itself; optical by night, catching and redirecting light through the structure.

A living optical instrument - each panel is turned by the forces of nature. Light breaks apart into a field that’s never fixed, never repeating. A place to gather, lose orientation and be briefly held inside its transmission.
