To all the wonderful artists, visitors, volunteers, venues and sponsors — thank you for your creativity, support, enthusiasm and love.

Together we made Brentford come alive with art, music, poetry, and community.

Creative Mile youth competition winners are here !

We are thrilled that over 200 young artists entered this year’s Creative Mile Youth Competition.

The creativity, imagination and talent were incredible — making it a very tough job for our judges.

Our 2026 winners are:
6 & under
Winner: Alice — St Paul’s CE Primary School
Runner-up: Isobel — St Paul’s CE Primary School
Ages 7–11
Winner: Anokhi — St Paul’s CE Primary School
Runner-up: Joshua N — Wellington Primary School
Ages 12–18
Winner: Adelee — Villiers High School
Runner-up: Arshia Ann — Villiers High School

Congratulations to all our young artists who took part. You truly inspired us with your wonderful artwork.

All winning entries and submissions will be proudly showcased as part of Creative Mile – Brentford’s Art Trail.

A very special thank you to all the amazing teachers who encouraged and supported their students, and to Lodge Brothers for sponsoring the Youth Competition.

A selection of short films - courtesy of the National Gallery archives - will be screening at the Everyman in Brentford Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am to 11am. This is for Creative Mile subscribers (it's free to sign up on our website). The films will be shown again from 11am to midday.

It’s the perfect opportunity to find out more about some of the artworks from the national collection and the artists who made them - in a comfy seat.
