El tiempo humano es siquiera el viaje que hace una partícula en apenas una inhalación de la vida. Eso duramos, un guiño, por más interminables que parezcan algunos pesados con delirios de Goliat de este planeta.

Miro el techo de una habitación a oscuras; nunca nada está tan oscuro. Me sobresalto, me maravillo. Cada vez que un auto surca la calle Bulnes, un reflejo de sus faros, espejado quien sabe cómo, recorre en diagonal la pared frente a mi cama y continúa en ángulo por el techo hasta que desaparece. Sigo el rastro con la vista cada vez hasta su extinción. Nunca nada no desaparece al fin.

Tuve por vez primera una certeza de impermanencia. Nada teórica y muy visceral. Vamos, que sentí por vez primera que me voy a morir. Es como quien incursiona en el beso de otra boca. Muy distinto a cualquier teoría que pase por la mente, una experiencia que transforma para siempre. Harto he disertado conmigo mismo los pormenores del abismo irreversible que implica dejar de existir.
