Looking for something different to do with your team this summer? Read this.

A lot of team sports aren't really team sports. Dragon boat is the exception. Twenty paddlers, one drum, one rhythm. You can be the strongest one in the boat and still lose if you're a beat off the rest of the crew.

It's why so many London companies, universities, and friend groups are using race day as their team away day this year. No experience needed. If you can hold a paddle and swim 50 metres, you're in.

The London Dragon Boat Festival returns to the Royal Docks on Sunday 21 June 2026. The winning crew earns a sponsored trip to compete in the Macao International Dragon Boat Races.

Sunday 21 June 2026. London's biggest dragon boat festival lands at the London Regatta Centre, and we want you in it.
This is what to expect:
🚣 200m sprint races down the Royal Docks
🥢 Asian street food, Macanese bites, cold drinks on the waterfront
🦁 Lion dances, live music and cultural performances all day
🎨 Kids' Fun Zone with face painting, games and activities
