Although the date for our 4th SHOUT LONDON Mental Health Film & Arts Festival has been postponed, we’re delighted to share some exciting news about a new partnership 💛💙

We’re proud to announce that SHOUT London is partnering with Nip in the Bud, the proud recipient of the Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award.

For over 10 years, Nip in the Bud has worked to raise awareness of mental health disorders in children. Through short, evidence-based films, fact sheets, blogs, and podcasts, they support parents, carers, teachers, and professionals in recognising early signs of mental health conditions, helping ensure that challenges can be “nipped in the bud” before they become more serious later in life.

We’re excited to collaborate with such an inspiring organisation as we continue growing our SHOUT Mental Health Film & Arts Festivals across the UK. Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming partnerships and festival plans!

Due to refurbishment work at our venue, we’ve had to postpone the next SHOUT London event.

We’ll be announcing the new date soon and can’t wait to share what’s in store for the festival.

🎬 Irish Film Makers Showcased in Wales 🇮🇪🇬🇧

We were thrilled to see SHOUT Cymru featured in The Irish World, celebrating a fantastic event in partnership with Irish Film & TV UK (IFTUK) our first Masters at Work regional screening in Pontypridd!

The event brought together award-winning Irish filmmakers and artists for a powerful weekend of films, conversation and connection including screenings of Verdigris, St Pancras Sunrise, and The Inn Keeper.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Wales and helped spark vital conversations about mental health, creativity and community. 💚

Synopsis: In 1980s London, Blathnaid, an Irish musician, befriends Nadina. After a police tragedy, their community responds with solidarity and protest, as women occupy a church to demand justice.

🎬 We are honoured to host the Welsh Premiere of Patricia Kelly’s award-winning feature Verdigris at SHOUT Cymru 2025.

Synopsis: Marian, recently retired, escapes a coercively controlling marriage and forms an unexpected friendship with Jewel, a teenage s*x worker. Their bond highlights themes of coercive control, resilience, and the power of connection.
