Yesterday we brought together charity and membership professionals in London for the TechSmart AI Masterclass, delivered in collaboration with ReadyIntelligence and sponsored by Mhance.
Thank you to our fantastic speakers, who explored the day’s theme, “Getting Unstuck with AI: Practical pathways for charities and membership organisations,” from various perspectives.
Sessions included:

✔️Juan Sanchez, CDO at Inteleos, on why using AI purely for efficiency is a trap. The real opportunity is to use it to do things that weren't possible before.
✔️Anders Hansen and Lisa Stockdale from National Association of Local Councils (NALC), who showed what it looks like to rebuild your digital foundations and deploy AI in service of your members.
✔️Alan Perestrello, Managing Director at Hart Square, on why AI strategy is not a technology decision, but rather a governance and organisational readiness decision.
✔️Alex Skinner, CEO, readyintelligence on how AI can help unlock the expertise already sitting inside your organisation.
✔️James Glover, CTO, mhance on the unglamorous but unavoidable work of getting your data in order.
✔️Our panel tackled questions from the floor on everything from AI in mental health services and managing staff resistance to policy, to the one thing every organisation should prioritise in the next 12 months.
