Little Ship Club

Little Ship Club The only yacht club by the Thames in the City of London Little Ship Club, a yacht and sailing club established 1926 on the river Thames in the City of London.

You can learn to sail as the Club provides RYA training as well as a bar, restaurant, sailing events and can be hired as a venue. The Club's membership is global but we have established fleets on the South and East coasts. In London at the Club there is a social programme for sailors of all sorts as well as a bar and restaurant

After retiring and setting sail aboard their Najad 511 in 2021, Nick and Michele have covered more than 25,000 nautical miles as liveaboards. Join them for stories, highlights and lessons from their Atlantic crossing and blue-water adventures between Trinidad and Maine.

A fantastic season of offshore racing for Little Ship Club members Inka and Richard! 🏆

In their first season racing together double-handed aboard Zanzibar, Inka and Richard have achieved far more than they expected, culminating in winning the RORC season overall in IRC 4.

Their season included taking on the formidable Round Britain & Ireland Race earlier this summer, completing around 1,800 nautical miles non-stop and double-handed and finishing 3rd out of six in their class. Behind that result was a huge amount of preparation and an incredible test of endurance, seamanship and teamwork. We’ll be hearing much more about the project when Inka and Richard speak at the Club at the end of October.

And their season isn’t quite over yet. Inka and Richard have also been selected to represent Ireland at the Offshore Double Handed World Championship in Marseille, taking place from 23 September to 2 October 🇮🇪

This time they’ll leave Zanzibar behind and compete in an identical Sun Fast 30 One Design, going up against an international field that includes some of the sport’s professional sailors.

Another week of adventures for Little Ship Club members, from Mediterranean sunshine to Atlantic sailing and plenty closer to home.

This week we’ve had members sailing in the Ionian, including plenty of time exploring the South Ionian, as well as adventures further out in the Azores. Our Braye and Back Again, turned into Braye-ton and back again due to a less than perfect forecast in the Channel.
