The only yacht club by the Thames in the City of London Little Ship Club, a yacht and sailing club established 1926 on the river Thames in the City of London.

You can learn to sail as the Club provides RYA training as well as a bar, restaurant, sailing events and can be hired as a venue. The Club's membership is global but we have established fleets on the South and East coasts. In London at the Club there is a social programme for sailors of all sorts as well as a bar and restaurant

From 27 founders in Whitehall to today’s vibrant community on the Thames, we’ll celebrate a century of shared skills, adventures and friendships at Plaisterers’ Hall. It was a real delight to hear from Inka Luhrs and Richard at Club Night, sharing stories from the 5,300 miles they’ve racked up over the sailing season aboard Zanzibar!

From the challenges they faced to the triumphs along the way, there were plenty of funny, fascinating and riveting stories from their first year with the boat.

A brilliant evening hearing how one new yacht quickly turned into a season full of adventure ⛵️

IN THREE WEEKS We’ve got our Fast Cruise 2

The winter Fast Cruise Series continues in Cowes, with long and short courses allowing boats across the sailing spectrum to compete under the YTC handicap. After racing, crews will gather at the Max Aitken Museum, where the RNLI City Shanty Band will lead a sing-song in support of the lifeboat charity.

It was lovely to see so many members and guests come together for one of the Club’s most beloved traditions, our annual Trafalgar Dinner ⚓

We were honoured to welcome Captain Chris O’Flaherty RN as our Guest of Honour, who proposed the toast to ‘The Immortal Memory’ and spoke about the life and career of Lord Nelson.

One particularly enjoyable part of the evening was hearing how much of Nelson’s early career was shaped by service in smaller vessels. A very fitting detail for our Club!
