Only 5 days to go until the 2025 event this Saturday. Although online entries have now closed we will be accepting on-the-day entries at the Neuadd Arms on Saturday morning from 8.30am until 9.45am, at a small surcharge. The event will then start after the briefing at 10am, with non-alcoholic cider at the feed station and real cider at the finish. Weather forecast is currently perfect - dry with sunny intervals. See you there! Afterwards why not head on down to Manor Adventure at the Abernant Lake Hotel where the Mountain Bike Chariot Racing Championships will be taking place at 4pm? The fun just never ends!

Hello everyone. It is with great regret that we have to announce that this years event on 10th of August will not be going ahead, as our insurers have told us that they are no longer willing to cover the event because it involves the consumption of alcohol. This means that we are unable to use the forestry land where the event takes place.
We have been trying to find alternative insurance but so far without success, so we have taken this decision to cancel now, to give everyone some notice before the event.
We will be contacting all those people who have pre-entered and issuing full refunds of their entry fees.
We apologise for having to disappoint everyone, but it would appear that the insurance world no longer wants people to have a bit of fun and enjoy themselves.
We will continue to try to find a solution before the 2025 event on 9th August next year.

Course is looking good 😜 the cider is ready to go 😜 the weather is looking 🤔 but that won’t stop everyone having a fun ride out in these beautiful welsh mountains!

You can follow your nose to the finish line at the Neuadd! Wash down with a cider or two!! Please note cash is required for the BBQ however you can use any leftover tokens for cider in the Neuadd.

‼️⚠️IMPORTANT INFO ALERT⚠️‼️
This year’s Cider Cycle on Saturday 10th Aug will be starting & finishing at the Neuadd Arms (LD5 4RB) in the town centre. Registration & sign on (8am-10am) will also be in the Neuadd! Briefing outside the Neuadd at 10:15am followed by a mass start at 10:30am from Neuadd.
There is some parking behind the Neuadd or at the Bromsgrove Hall (LD5 4RA).
Hope you’ve all got your bikes & cider goggles at the ready!!

Not quite the correct demographic for this page, but this is our superb sister event which takes place next month. Over the same terrain you would have experienced in August, but without your wheels! Cider is still available in town at the finish though! ;-) Tell your friends!

An off-road half marathon with donation going to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, all centred on the Welsh town of Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys.
