From local markets to music gigs, fitness classes to family events, we provide affordable, accessible spaces for all. Llanfairfechan Community Hall has been part of the fabric of the town for over a hundred years. The charity acquired the hall from Conwy County Borough Council at the end of 2024, after discussions about maintenance of the building. The Hall is run by a committee of local volunteer
s and managed day to day by a member of staff. The Hall is financed through events, venue hire, donations and grant funding. Owning the building allows the charity to apply for grants, essential for the upkeep and maintenance of the Hall. Our community venue offers:
1. A large main hall with fully functioning stage area which can accommodate 300 people
2. A medium-sized conference room for up to 40 people
3. A community activity room that offers a low-cost hire for up to 15 people
4. A new learning suite with IT facilities for up to 20 learners - a 'Multiply' hub for Grwp Llandrillo Menai
We currently support over 30 different charities and organisations, giving them a home for their meetings and activities. The Hall also hosts Llanfairfechan Town Council meetings and the Town Clerk. Current users of the Hall range from 3 months old to senior citizens, getting involved in:
Arts and crafts classes, exercise classes, sporting activities and clubs, charities, live music, theatre, cinema, children’s parties, artisan market, local interest groups, veterans’ breakfast club, and a youth club. Only service dogs are allowed in the main hall.
