Yesterday’s Carnival Special was absolutely brilliant!

The weather was glorious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and it was the perfect way to round off a wonderful day in Llandovery.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful performers who came along and shared their music with us, we really appreciate the effort you all make, and you’re what makes these nights so special and they wouldn't happen without you.

Thank you as always to The Castle Hotel for hosting us and giving us such a great space to bring everyone together.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along to listen, support, sing along, clap, cheer, and enjoy the evening with us. The Llandovery crowd never disappoints!

🎤 Wow… what a night at Llandovery Open Mic Night! 🎤

Today went absolutely brilliantly and somehow the weather held off just when it looked like we were about to get a downpour ☀️🌤️

A huge thank you to all of our amazing performers this evening. We really appreciate you all and the effort you make to come and share your music with us you’re what makes these nights so special.

And a massive shoutout to the fantastic Llandovery crowd, and those who travelled from further afield to support, it really means a lot and makes the atmosphere what it is 👏🎶

And of course, a big thank you to the Castle Hotel Llandovery for hosting us as always 🍻

With the weather looking absolutely glorious, we’re taking Llandovery Open Mic Night outside at the Castle Hotel Llandovery 🎶

We’ve got 15 amazing acts lined up and ready to go – it’s shaping up to be one of our best nights yet!

✨ What a fabulous way to end Llandovery Open Mic Night 2025! ✨

We started this before COVID, barely filling the bar area, and now after ten months the ballroom is full of musicians, performers, and the Llandovery community. It’s honestly incredible to look back and see how far this has come.

Ben and I never imagined it would grow into something like this. To everyone who comes along to support, listen, clap, and cheer thank you.

To the amazing musicians who travel miles and miles to share their talent with us thank you. We are genuinely humbled by you all.

This has become so much more than an open mic it’s a community, and we’re so grateful to be part of it.

Much love to every single one of you, and we’ll see you in March as we kick off a brand new Open Mic year. 🎶

Back in March, we started Llandovery Open Mic Night with the simple idea of bringing people together through live music and what it’s grown into has been truly special. Month after month, the support from performers and audiences alike has been incredible.

This Christmas Special will be our final Open Mic Night of the year, before we take a short winter break in January and February, returning in March with more music and more community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far — we can’t wait to see you on the 28th for one last night together this year. 🎶💛
