# # An Audience with Marc Evans hosted by Stifyn Parri # #

is nearly here and as part of this year's festival we are excited to annouce that on the evening of Tuesday 19th May, the acclaimed director Marc Evans will join us for a special screening of his BAFTA nominated 'Mr Burton'. Based on a remarkable true story, discover how the poor son of a miner became one of the greatest actors the world has ever known, with the help of an unlikely mentor.

Ahead of the screening of this multi-award-winning film, Marc Evans will be in conversation with entertainer and Carmarthen Bay Film Festival Creative Producer Stifyn Parri, exploring the making of Mr Burton, Evans’ career, and the stories behind the screen. Promising to be an inspiring and insightful session, the event will be particularly valuable for those looking to break into the film and televisión industry.
