A huge thank you to Sue Melling for sourcing the brackets to repair the curtain rail, and to John Slade for generously giving his time to fit them. Your help in getting the stage area back into top shape is very much appreciated 🙌

🏆 GOLD for Glaslyn🏆

Last night, Glaslyn won GOLD in the Session Bitter category at the CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain national final.

That alone means a lot to us. But what makes it even more special is that it is 19 years since Glaslyn first won category Gold in the very same competition.

The recipe has not changed. It is still the same Glaslyn we have brewed here in Porthmadog for years.

The only difference now is that Glaslyn, like all of our cask ales, is gluten free. And this award is a brilliant reminder that the quality, flavour and character of the beer are still exactly where they should be.

A huge credit to our brewers, who continue to brew beers with the same care, consistency and quality today as we did 19 years ago.

A proud day for Mŵs Piws, and a big thank you to everyone who has enjoyed Glaslyn over the years.

Dau hen ffefrynau fydd yn perfformio ar Nos Sadwrn Medi 19;
I ddechrau’r noson - Bydd Côr Meibion Ardudwy yn canu - Ffurfiwyd y côr yn 1953. Daw'r aelodau o fewn cylch o 10 milltir o Lanbedr, ardal lle mae'r Gymraeg yn parhau i fod yn iaith y mwyafrif o'r trigolion. Maent yn cynnal cyngherddau lleol yn aml ac maent wedi codi miloedd o bunnoedd at achosion da dros y blynyddoedd.

I gloi Gŵyl Gwrw 2026 mae gennym “Session”, band lleol adnabyddus a phoblogaidd sy'n chwarae casgliad o Roc a Blues, yn amrywio o AC / DC i The Zutons a phopeth rhyngddynt.

Two Beer Festival old favourites will be performing on the closing night, Saturday 19th September
To start the evening, Côr Meibion Ardudwy, the local male voice choir formed in 1953 will be singing. Members are drawn from a radius of about ten miles from Llanbedr, an area where Welsh remains the language of the majority of the inhabitants. The choir have raised thousands of pounds for charities during its long history.

To close the 2026 Beer Festival, Session, a well-known and much loved local covers band will be playing a collection of Guitar driven Rock and Blues, ranging from AC/DC to The Zutons and everything in between.

I ddecrhrau'r noson -“Y Cyffro
Band Roc Gymraeg a ffurfiwyd yng nghanol y 1970au fel grŵp Punk yn wreiddiol. Heddiw mae “Y Cyffro” yn diddanu cynulleidfaoedd ledled Gogledd Cymru gyda chyfuniad o Ganeuon Clasurol a Chaneuon Gwreiddiol.

Wedyn - “Back2Backtrax”;
Band Byw Soul, Funk, Rock n Roll 6-7 aelod. Yn cynnwys Adran Corn Byw. Yn chwarae amrywiaeth o ganeuon i blesio'r dorf a llenwi'r llawr.

This year's Beer Festival entertainment has been sorted, On Friday night, September 18 “Y Cyffro” and “Back2Backtrax ” will be there to entertain you

To start the evening - “Y Cyffro” - A Welsh language Rock Band formed in the mid 1970’s initially as a Punk - Rock outfit . Nowadays “Y Cyffro” entertain audiences across North Wales with a mixture of Classic Covers and Original Songs.

To finish off -“Back2Backtrax”
A 6-7 pc Live Soul , Funk , Rock n Roll Band established in 1994.
Featuring Live Horn Section . Play a diverse mix of crowd-pleasing floor fillers .
