*INTERESTED IN HOSTING ICE-9 IN 2028?*
As organisers of the ICE conference series, Professor Huang Guowen and I hope to see many of you at the ICE-8 conference next year in Rennes in France. We are grateful to the organisers of the ICE-8 for the hard work they have invested in making a unique ecolinguistic conference. As you probably know, it is not too late to submit an abstract, as the deadline has been extended to 1 November. As ICE-8 is approaching, it is now also the time to consider where ICE-9 will be held in 2028. Accordingly, Professor Huang and I invite Expressions of Interest from persons/teams/departments that would be interested in hosting ICE-9. At this stage, we only ask for an expression of interest, indicating host institution and suggested theme(s) of the conference.
Since its instigation in 2016, the ICE series has oscillated between China and Europe (with four conferences each). For the 2028 conference, we do not have any geographical limits. We welcome bids from all over the world, including Europe and China again.
