Heywood Community Gala

19/09/2026

❤️ THANK YOU, HEYWOOD! ❤️

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has come down and supported the Heywood Community Gala this weekend.

From our amazing traders, performers and volunteers, to the incredible pub staff, businesses, community groups and everyone else who has played a part — thank you! ❤️

It’s been a challenging weekend at times, but seeing people come together, support local businesses, enjoy the entertainment and simply be part of the community has meant so much to us.

After giving it a lot of thought, we’ve decided that we won’t be going ahead tomorrow (Sunday).

We feel it’s important to give everyone a chance to rest — including our amazing team, traders, performers and volunteers — and, importantly, to give our local residents a well-deserved break from the noise.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, been patient with us and helped make this weekend possible.

Heywood, you’ve been amazing. ❤️

From all of us at the Heywood Community Gala — thank you! ❤️

We’ve absolutely loved seeing so many of you turn up tonight to support the incredible acts who have given their time to help bring our community together. 🎶👏

A huge thank you to everyone who came down, supported the event, supported our local traders and cheered on our performers.

This is what the Heywood Community Gala is all about. ❤️

Day 1 complete.
Tomorrow, we go again! 💪🎉
