It’s June already that means we’re approaching our 4th BAKAYARD of the year, Saturday 27th June 2026 12pm till 6pm

We have aka Joe Florek making his return to the beachclub along side the ever present selecting duo theMedcince men who will be providing the 100% vinyl selections of the day at the beach from 12pm till 6pm.

Not only do we have the music played on our new club soundsystem, but we have a great selection of vinyl stalls available on the day. Including to name a few. Your sure to find all your Rock, Punk, Pop, Memorabilia, Electronica, Soul, Motown, RocknRoll, HipHop, Chart, 60s/70s/80s/90s/2000s needs in the hunt for your favourite album or 12” / singles.

Add to the vibe we have supplying the best in Caribbean food all day long well until sell out like there last visit also providing organic wellness ice cream & elixirs . Add to that the full bar and refreshments available at ,

plus from 6pm till Late we have selectors & rocking in the garden / clubhouse till late.

FREE ENTRY, Free parking and a stones throw away from the beach, why not make it a day trip.

Just to let you know is a non for profit organisation so every penny spent on the bar goes towards maintaining our fantastic cic.

The nearest train station is Grove Road (which is 5mins walk to the club), which has regular services from Liverpool and Chester to NewBrighton if you want to ditch the car. Bring the Family (we’re also dog friendly) you can dig for vinyl or on the beach afterwards while enjoying the vibes of the BAKAYARD.

Another DIGR’S SUNDAY SOCIAL done & dusted.

Thanks to the supporters and reporters that came and chilled at for our monthly session. Big shout to & for selecting sets that pang from the norm and make you want to know know what it’s a go go. On point 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊.

As ever delivered the top notch choice of wax for sale and .dough provided the pizza pie. Thanks to the staff for always looking after us much appreciated.

We’re back for our 3rd session of DSS on Sunday 7th June 2pm till 6pm. Remember every 1st Sunday of the month you can find us at .

Expect the very best of everything REGGAEHIPHOPSOULFUNKAFRODISCOACIDJAZZ’NSKAFUNKADELIC BEATS RYTHMNS & BASSLINES to say the least all 100% vinyl spun by some of the best selectors in the area & beyond.

First up selecting from 2pm till 4pm we have selector Ben Powers aka who was many, many peeps favourite vinyl wizard at the Legendary space back before developer sellouts. Ben is noted for dropping tracks that are abstract diggers grails from Bangkok beat to Egyptian Funk. S**t that you cant find on the stream network or your local hotspot.

Next up 4pm till 6pm we have one of the 45 Kings Mr Mick Jones aka . Arguably one of the most credible collectors & selectors of the 7” disc genre. You can find Mick gracing the spaces of on a rare outing if he’s not out and about in the hills & valleys. He’ll no doubt have a varied selection of mint breaks and bassline riddims to throw down at DSS.

Add to this a full on pop up record stall by delivering his array of vinyl for sale.

As always We got .dough supplying the best handmade pizza onsite, supplying you with beer, cocktails. coffee & visual street art delights throughout the day. We have the making of a great monthly gathering.

is situated on Victoria Road only 5mins walk from NewBrighton train station on the Wirral Line. Trains run every 30mins from Liverpool to NewBrighton and from Chester via Hamilton Sq. The venue is also dog friendly.

Massive shout out to & .sparx for bringing the beats from@12pm till 6pm, for banging out the best Lekker SA food in the UK ( They sold out again). for always supplying the best selections at good prices of vinyl for sale. for bringing the organic mango/blueberry/ Coconut ice lollys and cheesecake goodness. and for taking it to the next level for our first of the season garden party till the late hours.

If you were there day or night Thankyou for coming and supporting the event and the .

Big No1 hug going out to the staff and volunteers at our venue . Remember if you want to join the CIC it’s only £15 a year social membership which helps run the venue. All the funding raised from our BAKAYARD events goes right back into a non for profit organisation to help maintain the CIC.

“WE ARE FAMILY, I GOT ALL MY BROTHERS & SISTERS WITH ME”

For many many a year growing up heading into the Welsh hills & valleys was something magical, green growth, rich earth, wild water & people of the land.

Yesterday was the same feeling, the sense of a gathering based around foundation & family “AWAY WITH THE FAREYS” was energising. Thank you to the Farey Family for the wholesome energy of the gathering and the love of wood and skills in every inch of the site.

BIG SHOUT OUT to and father & son for the opportunity to play on Stone Roots Sound along side brothers & sisters throughout the day. Was so good to catch finally live and direct & the mighty Drumbago who are electric everytime I see them.

Catching the Glaswegian microphone queen .mc alongside Cymru wordsworth bonce the riddims between the boarders through stack was my evening topped off.

Had to cut the evening short but if you’re wanting to experience the energy in Cymru energy you need to check out which I’ve been banging on about for years now.

Their debut album ‘The Heart of the Congos’ produced by Lee “Scratch” Perry, is widely acclaimed as one of the best reggae roots albums of all time.

Catch them in Birkenhead on 24th May.

CALLING ALL THE DUB MASSIVE

Our 1st “Mersey DUB Club” of 2026 is on its WAY.

On 21st Day of Feb 2026 t powered by will take place at LOST ART Skateshop 15 Brick St, Liverpool, L1 0BL from 7pm till 12midnight.

On the session you can expect to hear the family and the man a controls “Chief Rocka” along side guest selector Chris of selecting the riddims throughout the night. We will also have in the area delivering everything good for the body, mind &soul.

If you didn’t make any of our gatherings in 2025 make sure you get to this session.

Support within our community is always welcome & thankful as we develop our DUBCLUB. Door tax on the night will be £7.00 Cash& Card accepted.

Please be aware capacity is limited at lost art so we can only offer a limited amount of door access / sales especially when we are bringing the full SOUNDSYSTEM.

We appreciate the support, it will help us continue with building the Mersey Dub Club into a solid sound system session. Only Good Good Vibes in the Area.
