BUFF 2024

I thought that I had already posted this, but it seems it didn't workfor whatever reason.

Pat, from the Lock Jammers, came up.with a brilliant idea last year that we never got around to. The idea is, to get half a dozen or so bands together to play a couple of songs as normal, and then play 3 more songs blindfolded. The event would be a mini festival to raise blindness awareness and raise money for Guide Dogs For the Blind. The best time to do this would be in Blindness Awareness Month which is October, so that doesnt give people very long. I reckon the end of October could be doable. However, SPOILER ALERT, it is not as easy as it sounds, even for bands that dont use tablets.
Can any bands interested in getting involved contact me, and we will go from there.

After Many attempts to change the name of this page we have decided that Facebook must love 2024. From now on, all future info about BUFF will be on the Bootle Ukulele Fun Festival page.

Applications are now open for BUFF 2025. Please email [email protected] and use BUFF 2025 application as the subject. Some people have already emailed me but could you please email again now just in case, thanks.
The page name is still BUFF 2024 at the mo' but should change once Facebook authorise it.

Out of the blue BUFF has been shortlisted for the Anarchy in the Ukulele "UKIE" for the best small to medium festival
Also Summer Strum have been shortlisted for best large festival and Ukulele Buddies are up for.best band. If you haven't already could you please vote for all of us and ask your mates to do the same.
