OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Aintree Circuit Club have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the 2026 Cataclean Southport Speed Sprint Revival, scheduled to take place Saturday 28th March. This has arisen due to multiple unforeseen factors, that may comrpomise the running of a successful event within the community, arising since the date was originally set. Plans to reschedule for later in the year have been met with positive support by Sefton Council and Motorsport UK.

Further information will be forwarded as alternative plans are put in place.

In the meantime, you are invited to join us for the Segrave 100 events in Southport and Ainsdale - 15th and 16th March.

These are completely free for the public to attend and enjoy.

Important reminder :next year.. 16th March.. 100th anniversary of the world land speed record set at Ainsdale Beach by Sir Henry Segrave.. Aintree Circuit Club will be organising a series of events starting with a celebration dinner 14th March at the Waterfront Hotel. Details will be published shortly.

We will have General Spectator entrances at the Guelder Rose end of Marine Drive and via the Ocean Plaza Southport Roundabout accessed via the Ocean Plaza Retail and Leisure Areas.
Premium Paid ticket access will be from The Esplanade Start/Finish area. All viewing will be from the Seawall elevated areas. Premium tickets also provide access to the competitors Paddock in the Esplanade Car Park. Cataclean Southport Speed Sprint Revival 2025

Action starts from 1000 with timed practice followed by competitive runs from about 1300. We expect timed runs to finish around 1600 but we can run until 1700.

Marine Drive will be closed to Vehicles and Pedestrians from 0600 to 1830 with no access from Weld Road or Marine Drive/Esplanade or Marine Parade beyond the Ocean Plaza access road. There will be soft access from Fairway to Waterside but only for people attending the 24hr Yacht Race at West Lancashire Yacht Club.

Pedestrians will be able access the Guelder Rose and adjacent crossing point at Waterside, where there will be a ticket check point
