The Hollycombe Steam Collection, in Liphook Hampshire (on the Sussex Border), is the largest traditional Heritage Fairground in Britain, and includes a fully working steam fairground, narrow gauge and miniature steam railways. The collection is run by volunteers who keep the Edwardian Fairground working as it did a century years ago - entertaining children and adults alike.

100 years is a very long time👍⏰

Our up coming Steam Festival on the 6th and 7th June features an engine which will be steaming for the first time in one hundred years 🤔

Something really special on its own.

Alongside this, if that wasn't enough, we are bringing for the first time two back-to-front Barrows portable engines.

These two are the only surviving reverse Barrows that work in the world!
A truly unique spectacle.

A sneaky peek 🫣

One of the stars of our Barrows and Co gathering is coming on nicely.

This engine is one of two back-to-front Barrows portables that survive.

We have both in attendance this year and for the first time in potentially 100 years this one in steam!!

🚂Our Marvellous steam Festival features not just full size engines but also an amazing display of Model stationary engines.

👍 Jim our friend is bringing over twenty stationary miniature engines all working! A brilliant display in prospect.

🙂 Something for youngsters and adults to enjoy.

🚢Ow and we even have a steam boat coming as well!

A very special note for members of the Road Locomotive Society.

As our upcoming show is going to have some special and rare engines we would like to extend an offer to the membership.

With one engine that has never been to a Rally, and another one steaming for the first time in over 100 years plus one out for the first time since the 1950's; we really are breaking some rally records this year.

From 1hp to 25 hp and everything in between.

We pride ourselves on putting steam to work with working steam sawing, road making and ploughing.... all making a genuine difference to the site from repairing our roads to sawing for the Big Wheel restoration.
