We are back for 2026

Yes that’s right, the sun is shining and we are all still stuffed full of Easter eggs. So what better time to think of Christmas 🎅🏻🤣

Fancy getting involved? We always need help with running the day, stall holders, performing groups, food vendors and everything else that might make the day an even bigger success.

We raised more than £3000 last year for local good causes. Let’s work towards beating that this year

Just a quick post to thank our wonderful volunteers. Without you the event couldn’t happen. From manning the road closure, running Tombola, Santas Elves, taking donations for carriage rides… lots of cogs make the big event happen and we are incredibly grateful to each one of you.

Thank you to our super talented performers, you were such joyful and talented representatives of your groups.

Enormous thanks to Lee and Louise at Charlwood Cobs and Carriages for once again offering the stunning max and Dan for rides around the village.

And thank you to all who came out and supported this local event. I hope you had a fabulous time and we very much hope to see you again next year.

Tomorrow is the big day and we are still in need of some additional Tombola prizes.

We’re on the lookout for any unused gift sets, toiletries, toys, or teddies that are looking for a new home! If you have something hiding in a cupboard that could bring joy to someone else, we’d love to have it for our upcoming Tombola. 💝

✨✨it’s THIS WEEKEND✨✨

That’s right, it’s finally the week of Lingfield day and we are bursting with excitement.

We have collaborated with local businesses to bring you the absolute best day of the year.
We have BBC Surrey very own Mark Carter who will be hosting the day, using PA equipment generously donated by CB Event group who will also be bringing their bar 🍻

Mark will be introall our talented local performers who will be entertaining you throughout the day. We have Lingfield Primary School St Piers School and College Evolution Dance Academy Gibbins School of Irish Dance Cats Whiskers Jive Club and Brammer. Don’t worry about getting cold, the lovely people at will be there with hot drinks and snacks to keep you warm while you dance.

The fabulous people at M&L Pleasure Fairs will be back with their funfair rides to keep you thrill seekers blood pumping. They will also have their traditional burger and hot dog van. This year there will also be a crepe and waffle hut, serving hot desserts and hocolate strawberries. But that’s not all, we also have the amazing Twisted Toppings Pizza bringing their oven fired goodness, Pink Cactus Cafe serving loaded hot potatoes and soups. We have the guys at Rustic bar returning for another year offering their mulled wine and pre packed booze baskets, as well as a whole host of bakery stalls, Indian cuisine and other sweet treats amongst our market stalls.

The absolute stars of last years show were of course Jim and Dan the horses. Well the great news is that they are back too. Charlwood Cobs and Carriages will be offering rides around the village again, but it gets better! Those wonderful people at Smith & Western have given us cowboy hats for every rider! So make sure you go get in line.

The carriage will also. Ring within them a very special guest indeed, the only only man In red…. Santa 🎅 will be coming. Yes that’s right, Santa will be in his usual spot at the pond ready to meet all the girls and boys and give them presents. H elves will also be holding a silent auction to see if you could win their amazing tree 🌲

We have a pop up photography studio from Pearson's Portraits in the community centre. So get your family and friends, your Christmas jumpers ready tans go get some festive photos.

Sounds pretty amazing already doesn’t it? And we haven’t even begun to discuss the 40+ stallholders who will be selling everything from crochet to crystals, turned wood to women’s fashion and everything in between.

We are very excited to be getting so close to the big day.

Sadly it does mean a tiny bit of disruption as we close the High street, but it will be well worth it.

We are closing between the co-op and station road at 12 midday. The road will reopen again at 8pm ( or earlier if we are able to to do so safely)

we do appreciate that this may be inconvenient but we hope the later timings allow you to get jobs done first thing ready to leave the car at home and enjoy an afternoon of festive fun.
Do remember that those manning the barriers are volunteers and just trying to keep everyone safe, so please don’t be rude.

Lingfield day is just 17 days away. We have had the very talented Perfect Art create this map to help guide you around.

Remember that as well as Charlwood Cobs and Carriages at the entrance of the high street, the wonderful M&L Pleasure Fairs will be providing fairground rides, we have lots of delicious food and drinks, the fabulous Mark Carter from BBC Surrey Introducing all of our talented local performers.

We have stalls selling everything from pyrography to photography, crochet to Christmas cards and lots in between. Remember to make your way into both the Lingfield community centre and VSSC - Lingfield Victoria Club for even more stalls!
