IMPORTANT INFORMATION ROTAX TYRES.
For this weekend's sprint series final round, all rotax classes must use mojo slicks as per their class rules.
For the final time both komet and mojo class wets can be use for rotax classes. This is to allow drivers to use up any komet wets they may have had to buy earlier in the season when there were mojo supply issues.
Next season will be to 2023 class rules for both slicks and wets.

September race meeting this weekend is going ahead as normal and will be counted as a championship round. Forecast is looking good. Get your entries in! 🏁

A two minute silence will be observed on race day as a mark of respect.

All Rotax classes will be running Mojo slicks as per the class rules. Wets remain open for now between Mojo & Komet.

Please note there are major roadworks on the A17, see the link below. This may affect your journey to Fulbeck. Allow more time and / or select an alternative route.

Race order for finals day for East of England Cup. Mandatory driver's briefing on the start finish line at 8.45am. 9.30am start on track.
Heats 7 minutes + 1 lap
Pre finals 9 minutes + 1 lap
Grand finals 12 minutes + 1 lap
Let's have some good clean racing, we really want to see 12 grand finals.... We won't if we spend time under the red flag 🙄🤦
Let's all get through the first corner and 2nd chicane on the first lap👍🏁
We will have experienced observers on all key points!

It's the 1st of August, time to start getting those entries in for the next Sprint series which happens to be the East of England cup! 😲 🎊

We've also got some news on yes wait for it ....Tyres! 👇

Following consultation with JAG Rotax MOJO tyres will be made available for the Sprint Series E plate. Therefore all Rotax classes will be required to race on MOJO slick tyres associated with their class as indicated in the Sprint Series rules.
Kartparts will have sufficient stock for both racing and a second set for practice if you so wish. We understand the characteristics of the used komet is similar to used MOJO, if you wish to practice on komet and purchase one new set of MOJO to race on.

IMPORTANT TYRE INFORMATION FOR ROTAX CLASSES FOR JULY SPRINT SERIES MEETING.

Whilst some Mojo supplies have been coming through, the mojo tyre situation is not back to normal. Some clubs have been able to secure stock to sell one set only to drivers. This does not allow for test tyres, or for any significant used stock to become availible. We want to maintain stability in the Rotax classes. Therefore until the mojo situation is back to normal Komets for slicks will remain.

Hence the position remains the same for Rotax classes as noted below.

Minimax and Juniormax Komet K2H

Seniormax and 177 Komet K2M

Wets can remain as mojo W5 or Komet K1W to allow people to use their current stock as wets are rarely used.

From our information the Mojo situation is affected by some raw materials that come from Ukraine and Russia. Indications are that nothing much will change until September and may not change then. Hence it is likely we will be continuing with Komets as noted above and may remain so for the rest of the 2022 season.

There is plenty of Komet stock availible from a number of retail outlets.

The mojo tyre situation has not improved since May. Hence the position remains the same for Rotax classes as noted below.

Wets can remain as mojo W5 or Komet K1W to allow people to use their current stock as wets are rarely used.

IMPORTANT TYRE INFORMATION FOR ROTAX CLASSES.
Of those registered drivers that voted the results are as follows for slick tyres.
Komets only 45%
Mojo's only 22%
Both 33%

On this basis we shall be running the following Komet slicks for the May meeting.

Fulbeck Kart Club feel the vote is the correct one, remaining on dribs and drabs on both tyre types don't make for a level playing field.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ROTAX CLASSES.
Every sprint series club member has been sent an email, asking all Rotax drivers to vote on tyres for the May meeting. The email system only allows for emails to all members, hence please do not vote if you are not a Rotax driver.
If you are a Rotax driver, state your class, race number and your vote from one of the 3 choices.
The vote closes next Thursday.
The result will be announced on Friday allowing time to get tyres.
Please be aware the Mojo tyre situation will not improve anytime soon.
