Due to a withdrawal of council support, Sandblast will not be going ahead this September.
Speaking on behalf of everyone behind the scenes, I can say it's a great disappointment as we felt last years event proved a great success, and that any concerns the council raised about environmental safety and social behaviour had been addressed by our plans.
That said, Northern Ireland has a long, great history of motorsport and bike culture and we're determined to be part of it. So while we can't promise a race up the beach this September, stay tuned for more thrills in the future 🏁🏁🏁
