A demolition with the ball led by a sensational Chris Boyson 5/22 🌟, superbly backed by Kamal Subhani 3/5 and Anil Kumar 2/11 — Aldridge skittled for just 65. Ihsaan Nadeem (24), Ricky Kotian (15), and Avishek Ray (15) knocked off the runs with plenty to spare.

What a chase! Harry Turley-Salmons anchored it with a brilliant unbeaten 91* (85), alongside Elliot Tidman's punchy 82, with Faisal Javed seeing it home. Earlier, Simon Foulds (2/16), Harry Turley-Salmons (1/14), and Luke Conway (1/20) kept Walton in check.

A controlled chase wrapped up with plenty to spare. Ihsaan Nadeem led the way with a quickfire 44 (25), backed by Elliot Dowen 23 (17) and Nivraj Virk 19 (17). With the ball, Joseph Mayou (2/5) and Nivraj Virk (2/12) kept it tight, Callum Rubisch grabbing 1/5.

What a finish! The women's side edged a genuine one-run thriller at home to Penkridge.

Penkridge posted 93/4 (net 273). Lichfield replied with 89/3 — and although that's fewer runs off the bat, losing fewer wickets tipped it our way on net: 274 plays 273. A nervy, brilliant one-run win. 🌟

⭐ Player of the Match: Emma Cheeseman 3/18 — three crucial wickets to keep Penkridge in check and set up the result.

Also among the wickets: Linda Collins 1/10, tidy and economical. Anna Dowen top-scored with 18 to anchor the reply.

After tying with Tamworth a fortnight ago, the women bank a thoroughly deserved win in another nail-biter. Fantastic effort from the whole squad — well played all. 👏
