From all of us, thank you so much for the support you have given us over the past 9 days.

Day 9 stats:
-Total distance: 152Km
-Total elevation: 1571m

What an incredible 9 days. Not only have we had the pleasure of experiencing the entire length of our beautiful country, but we have also raised an amazing amount of money for the charities close to us.

We only had 150km to cover today however, we had a head wind of 20mph and temp down to 6’. Not the easiest of days to cycle, but we knew the end point was in sight.

So much goes into these weeks, the support crew that provide so much to us, the evening dinners, personal nutrition management, bike maintainence, personal physical wellbeing, kit, tent/camp set up, the list goes on. We can’t thank those who have helped us this week and the weeks leading up to it - we could’t have done it with out you.

Thank you also to all those you have greeted us on our journey, given us food parcels & wished us well.

We have absolutely loved this tour, thank you again. We’re shattered and ready to NOT set the alarm for 05:30.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED OVER THE PAST 8 DAYS.

Day 8 stats:
-Total distance: 179Km
-Total elevation: 2603m

A big day today. In distance and in elevation, but we were spoilt by the views.

After 30mins of setting off, Sheila & Hamish, Tim’s close relatives presented everyone with a home made tiffin and big cheer for the remaining cycle - BIG THANKS.

The first 50km today encompassed three big hill climbs in the dry. The middle 100km was incredibly wet with heavy head winds over tough terrain and gradients - our most challenging ride section todate - the final 30km was smooth and out of the highlands with more level gradient, even the sun came out.

One of our best days, but equally our hardest due to the the weather and the elevation.

Today was a tough on weather wise, but seeing the donations roll in certainly kept spirits high whilst climbing Glenshee.

We didn’t know what to expect heading into today. The weather forecast has been predicting some pretty horrific conditions so we were prepared for the worst and what it could throw at us.

We were sent on our merry way by Doug and Carole (as pictures) - with some home made banana break 👌🏼 - delicious, thank you.

After a dry start, incredibly heavy rain was with us for the majority of the day, this was manageable as the wind was quite light. We had a stunning climb over Glenshee and arrived into Braemar in the sun. A little chilly now so we’re off for a hot shower... two days to go 👊

Another long day distance wise, but luck was on our side. 50mph tail wind, missed the rain and smooth, decent gradient road condition. A dramatic change to previous days. We’re aware we have some big days to come....

Today we had a 5mile long mountain to climb, met a horse + some muscle pain began to creep in, but we also got to ride through some stunning valleys. We also got to ride with Ian - Badens Uncle - thanks for riding with us Ian 🚲. Also; First puncture of the tour today, not bad considering we’re 5 days in!!

First of all CONGRATULATIONS + Thank you. Yet again you have have hit our target 🎯. The current total raised for our charities stands at £5045 therefore the new target is now set at £6,000 💫

Our longest ride on this tour so far. Today took us through muddy country lanes, town centres, down stairs and along multiple pot holed lanes. We encountered glorious sunshine and downpours.

BIG DAY today, another hilly one! We started the day with a clear crisp morning. Passed by supporters at the Suspension Bridge and Almondsbury before winding our way through the beautiful Wye Vally.
