It's not long to go until our Day at the Races on our Thursday 18th June!

There is no occasion in the racing calendar quite like Royal Ascot, and Ladies Day stands as its centrepiece. Join our much‑loved annual celebration and immerse yourself in the excitement of the world’s most glamorous race day - an event many consider the highlight of the British social and sporting calendar.

Enjoy A Day at the Races from the comfort of the Garden Rooms, where live TV coverage will transport you straight to the heart of Royal Ascot. A fabulous buffet lunch sets the tone for an indulgent day, followed by full coverage of the race card and all the fashion, colour, and pageantry that make Ladies Day so iconic. Add in a huge cash sweepstake and expert insights from legendary racing expert John Tennant, and you’ll feel every bit as thrilled as if you were trackside!

There are just TWO TICKETS remaining for the Mouseman 150th Anniversary: Talk & Lunch on Thursday 25th June!

To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Robert Thompson in May 1876, we are delighted to be hosting a talk & lunch. Our in-house Mouseman specialist Diane Sinnott will offer insight into some of Mouseman’s most iconic early pieces of furniture such as the Hutch, the evolution of the Monk’s Chair, and selected important commissions. Diane will also discuss Mouseman master carvers including George Weightman and Stan Dodds.

🕙 Event Timings
10am-11am - Optional behind the scenes tour (Additional £10)
11am - Arrival for those not attending the tour. Tea/coffee served.
11.30am Talk by Diane Sinnott followed by Q&A session
12.45pm – Two-course lunch
2pm - Approx. finish time

To celebrate Crime Reading Month in June, The Garden Rooms at Tennants are pleased to announce the return of our Crime Panel Event!

The five Yorkshire-based authors will come together to discuss their books and give short readings of their work followed by a Q&A session.

Each of the authors will have books to sell and sign during a meet and greet afterwards.
