🐑🌾 A HUGE THANK YOU – WENSLEYDALE SHOW 2026! 🌾🐑

What a fantastic Wensleydale Show 2026! We’d like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s show such a success. ❤️

Firstly, a huge thank you to all our wonderful landowners, sponsors and supporters for their incredible generosity and continued support. Without you, the show simply wouldn’t be possible. Your backing helps us put on a fantastic event for the whole community and we truly appreciate every bit of support.

👏 Thank you also to all our exhibitors, competitors, judges, stewards, volunteers, trade stands, entertainers, catering teams and everyone working behind the scenes. So many people give their time, energy and expertise to make the day happen, and we couldn’t do it without you.

And finally, a massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Wensleydale Show. Whether you entered an exhibit, competed, visited the stands, enjoyed the entertainment, or simply came along for a great day out — thank you!

Your support means so much to us and helps keep this wonderful local tradition going. 💚

📸 🤩🤩 Win a family ticket to the 2027 show 🤩🤩

We are running our usual competition to find the photo from the 2026 show that will be our catalogue cover photograph in 2027!

We are taking submissions until the start of November but whilst we’ve got you here and the show is fresh in mind, why not send us some of your best? 📸

Photos submitted will be entered in the competition to win a family ticket for the 2027 show and by submitting photographs you agree the society may use them in promoting the show on social media/website/press and newsletters

☀️ Sunday after the show, it’s 8am and the team is back gathering on the show field, very bleary eyed, some nursing a small hangover (no names mentioned…) but all with a job to do to tidy up the show field and return it to our wonderful landowners that let us use it for both the show field and the car parking. What a great team of volunteers turned up this year, many hands indeed make light work and a good job done.

Did you leave something at show?

We have a small collection of items that were handed into the secretaries tent including a rather important car key!

We will be clearing up at the show field this morning if you’d like to collect the items or email [email protected]

We do also have a bank card - ID is needed to collect.

Well what we can we say…a huge thankyou to everyone that has walked through the gate in any capacity today - be it volunteer, trader, competitor or visitor.

You all make Wensleydale Show what it is and we hope you’ve had a wonderful day.

Lots more to follow in the next few days but here is today’s catch up with James and Janette our fearless Field Manager and Chair.
