The sunshine has been amazing, the atmosphere is buzzing, and it’s been fantastic to see so many friendly faces enjoying the day with us! 🚜🎡

From classic tractors to family fun, there’s something for everyone… and yes, we even have the legendary Wall of Death here this year — definitely a must-see attraction! 🏍️💥

The funeral of Dave Anstiss will take place on Wednesday 29th April at 3:00pm at Wealden Crematorium, Horam, East Sussex, TN21 0FX.

This will be followed by refreshments and a celebration of Dave’s life at The Laughton Show Ground, Lewes Road, Laughton, East Sussex, BN8 6BN. Everyone is welcome.

Please feel free to bring along your classic vehicles to display at the showground during the celebration.

Further details can be found on the website of CPJ Field / Haine & Sons, Hailsham. If anyone wishes to bring flowers, they are very welcome to do so.

It is with a heavy heart that we write to inform you that, sadly, Dave Anstiss, co-founder of The Cuckoo Spring Fair and The Laughton Country Show, passed away on Saturday, 11th April at home, surrounded by his family.

Please feel free to share any happy stories, memories, or photos of Dave below — they would mean a great deal to us all.

Funeral details will follow in the coming days.
