Hi everyone.

It is with much regret that I have decided to cancel the festival this year.

As you can imagine it has been a very difficult time for me since my husband Rod died in April. The intention was to continue, and hold the festival in his honour ... but I am just not able to provide the time and dedication needed to give it and you justice so deserved.

I am sorry to let so many people down. But I feel this is the best decision given the circumstances.

The intention is to start again for next year. Gone to Earth will rise again.

Of course refunds will be made for both traders and those who have booked to come and join us for the weekend as campers.

I am proposing that if any of you wish to carry forward your booking for next year this will be possible. Also if anybody wants to hold fire until we have secured the dates for next year before deciding this will also be possible. Therefore there will be no time limits on making a claim for said refunds.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with your questions, requests and intentions.

I will endeavour to have had contact with everyone over the next few days.

We are very excited to say everything is coming along nicely.

Spending time getting paperwork in order and mapping out the site.

We have something a bit different on offer this time - keep watching this space and sharing the posts.

Still plenty of space for traders and campers. It's a big site 😀

We also have plenty of room for more traders.

Everybody has been so lovely, lets get this thing rolling - love to all of you and thank you for all your kind words and support.

Going to be working my socks off to bring everything up to date. Will be updating the website - the logistics form will be attached to it on the contacts page. So if you are performing please go there, grab a form, fill it in and send it back to me.

As many of you will already know my lovely husband Rod has left this realm. I have decided to go ahead with the Gone To Earth Festival in his memory: as a tribute and memorial to him. I wasn't going to, I intended to cancel, but having had heart felt conversations with family and friends I changed my mind. You all know me as the face of the festival, but without Rod it would not have happened, he was the inspiration and drive behind it. My rock and my safe place. I loved him so very much and so intend to continue this venture in his honour.

Let's make it a good one.
