Join us for a women’s ultra trail running event this summer!

We’re heading to the gorgeous Surrey Hills on Sunday 5th July, starting and finishing at Denbies Vineyard, for a 50km ultra trail event with NO CUT-OFFS. This is your chance to complete an ultra distance on sociable trails and full support to get you to the finish line – run, run/walk or hike, it’s up to you!

We also have a 25km distance, which is a great step up from half marathon, or a 10km distance, which is perfect for those who want to explore the trails in a safe, fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

The SheRACES Trail Series is a fundraising event for SheRACES, with all profits going to support our mission of getting more women on start lines. Some of this will be directly supporting entries for this event for women who would otherwise not be able to attend, as well as our wider research and advocacy work.

The event is accessible by train (car parking also available), and a full spectator guide will be released nearer the time for friends and family to come and support your race.

We’re working with Phoenix Running Ltd to deliver this event, which will be fully signed and marshalled with regular aid stations to fuel your journey. Full course profile coming very soon!

Who’s coming? We can’t wait to see you there!

SheRACES Trail Series 2026 – entries now open! Who’s joining us?

This year we are excited to bring our no-cut-offs ULTRA and 25km event to the glorious Surrey Hills – with a new 10km option available.

Our inaugural event last year was an amazing success with so many women completing their first 50km ULTRA or 25km, making new friends and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Peak District – check out the photos and videos on SheRaces Trail Series

🗓️ Sunday 5th July 2026
📍 Denbies Wine Estate, Surrey (50 mins by train from London)
🏃‍♀️ 50km, 25km and 10km distances available, plus a kids’ race
👏 No cut-offs – runners, run-walkers and hikers are all welcome
🤰 Pregnancy and new-parent deferral policies
💸 All profits will go toward supporting our mission

We are working with the wonderful Phoenix Running Ltd who have kindly donated their time to support the event. All profits will go toward supporting our work breaking down barriers to women in endurance and mass participation events across the world.

Please share with your local running groups and communities – or get a group involved from work! Many women said it was the perfect first trail race or step up to ultra distance giving them confidence to enter more.

We are looking for more partners to support the event, including our outreach program to offer free places to women from underrepresented communities who would otherwise be unable to take part (application details to follow). Please contact us [email protected]

100% FINISHER RATE 🎉

Every single woman who lined up at the start of the SheRACES Trail Series race in the Peak District crossed the finish line. 💪

This wasn’t just luck. It was intentional.

✅ No cut-off times
✅ Supportive, inclusive course
✅ Thoughtfully designed aid stations
✅ Medical and safety teams that truly see every runner
✅ A race environment built by women, for women

"Every detail of this race was designed to support women—not just to start, but to finish. This is what happens when you remove barriers and replace them with belief."
— Debs White, Race Director

"This wasn’t about making it easy—it was about making it possible. Women pushed themselves, helped each other, and showed what they’re capable of when the course is set up for them to succeed."
— Kate Worthington, Course Operations Manager

💛 A huge congratulations to every single runner who crossed the finish line on Saturday. You didn’t just finish, you helped redefine what a race can be.

The sun ☀️ was shining across the Peak District ⛰️ as runners took to the hills and trails on the inaugural SheRACES Peak District Event 😍

There were smiles for miles as runners ran either the 25K and 50K routes 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️and where for many Saturday also marked their first ultra 🙌🙌

Emotional highs were experienced out on course and on the finish line 🏁 And as the last runners came through just before sunset this meant a 💯 finisher and completion rate 👏👏

Thank you to each and every one of you for your positivity, enthusiasm and support! 🙏 Not forgetting a big high five 🙌 to all the volunteers and marshals without whom an event like this cannot happen!

As you enjoy a well deserved feet up, here are some highlights from our talented event team photographer 📸
