AN AFTERNOON FOR KIDS & THEIR GROWN UPS

Come and join the award-winning author Esther Freud and talented illustrator Emma Chinnery, at the Leiston Film Theatre on Sunday 26 October, as they present their lyrical picture book Enchanted Beach.

Enchanted Beach is a gorgeous picture book (written for children aged 3 to 7) about family life by the sea and a magnificent celebration of the seaside throughout the changing year.

This joyful story celebrates many milestones such as birthdays, Christmas and New Years. Esther’s lively and lyrical text combines perfectly with Emma’s classic illustrations to captivate young readers.

During this event, Esther and Emma will also reveal the process behind the scenes of writing and and sketching before it all comes together in a happy mix of words and pictures.

Following the hugely successful second Leiston Book Festival, we are delighted to announce that the creators of Enchanted Beach, a gorgeous picture book all about family life by the sea, will be coming to Leiston Film Theatre on Sunday 26 October.

Award-winning author Esther Freud and talented illustrator Emma Chinnery will present their lyrical picture book aimed at children aged 3 to 7. Enchanted Beach is a magnificent celebration of the seaside throughout the changing year. This joyful story celebrates many milestones such as birthdays and New Years.

Esther’s lively and lyrical text combines perfectly with Emma’s classic illustrations to captivate young readers.
